Former Prime Minister late PV Narasimha Rao’s son Prabhakar Rao has thanked PM Modi after his father conferred with Bharat Ratna. Prabhakar Rao has expressed his gratitude to PM Modi after former PM PV Narasimha Rao was selected for India’s highest civilian honor, i.e., the ‘Bharat Ratna’.
Prabhakar Rao emphasized that his father, PV Narasimha Rao, has contributed a lot to the country through his schemes and made historic decisions for the country. Prabhakar Rao also said that his father grew up as a statesman while contributing a lot to the country with his visionary leadership.

Former PM Narasimha Rao was born on June 28, 1921, in the Karimnagar district of Telangana. Narasimha Rao, being an agriculturist and an advocate, joined politics.
He served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1971–73 and General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee from 1975–76. It is known that Narasimha Rao was Prime Minister from June 21, 1991, to May 16, 1996.
