In Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, a woman named Gangamma allegedly killed her 15-year-old son Veerendra with the help of her lover Dargappa after he repeatedly opposed and exposed her illicit affair. She later filed a fake missing complaint and even approached the High Court. The body was exhumed from a village graveyard on June 1 after an SIT investigation.
