The biennial election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Tamil Nadu will be held on June 18 following AIADMK member C Ve Shanmugam’s resignation. Nominations can be filed till June 8, with scrutiny on June 9. Candidates may withdraw by June 11. If contested, polling will take place on June 18 at the Secretariat, where MLAs will vote to fill the casual vacancy.
