Budget Session Likely To Be Conducted Soon In Jharkhand

The budget session in Jharkhand is likely to be conducted very soon. Earlier on Thursday, Jharkhand’s new Chief Minister, Champai Soren, spoke at a press conference in Ranchi, and he revealed that the annual budget will be presented by the end of February 2024.

Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s policies will be continued by his government, CM Soren emphasized earlier. Furthermore, he claimed to have examined every issue pertaining to the state financial department. CM Soren emphasized that the people of Jharkhand had elected his predecessor, handing him a five-year mandate.

CM Champai Soren stressed that the state cabinet expansion will happen very soon. He also said that there may have been a change of guard at the helm, but he is determined to carry forward his plans and vision for the state of Jharkhand.

It is known that recently, CM Champai Soren won the trust vote with a 47:29 majority. Interestingly, the ruling coalition led by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) passed the halfway mark of 41 in the 81-member Assembly. Currently, the JMM has 29 seats, and its ally Congress has 17 seats.
