Heavy floodwaters are entering Prakasam Barrage in Vijayawada, prompting authorities to alert 43 low-lying areas. Currently, 55 crest gates are raised by one foot and 15 by two feet, releasing 60,000 cusecs. An additional 14,000 cusecs are being discharged through East and West Canals, and residents have been urged to remain vigilant.
