CJI Can Inform The PM & President: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court is hearing Justice Yashwant Varma’s petition challenging the in-house inquiry. The Supreme Court told Justice Varma’s lawyer, Kapil Sibal, that the CJI can inform the president and PM if there is evidence of misconduct of Varma. Varma is linked to half-burnt currency found at his Delhi residence.
