Lok Sabha Polls: BJP Will Begin Rath Yatra Tomorrow In Telangana
According to political circles, the BJP has set a target of winning at least 10 seats and gaining 35% of the votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state.
The Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) will begin a prestigious Rath Yatra in Telangana ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The BJP state unit will conduct a ‘Rath Yatra’ from February 5–14 in the state to generate momentum for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
The BJP’s top leadership has divided the Telangana state into five clusters. According to political circles, the BJP has set a target of winning at least 10 seats and gaining 35% of the votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state.
Recently, BJP state chief Kishan Reddy has changed the presidents of 12 districts and appointed the presidents of six frontal organizations. Meanwhile, the BJP high command is hoping that the Rath Yatra will be useful in connecting with the people.
The 18th Lok Sabha polls will be held this year in April and May. According to the Election Commission of India, out of 17 seats, three are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and two for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
All Lok Sabha seats in Telangana are: Peddapalli (SC), Nagarkurnool (SC), Warangal (SC), Mahabubabad (ST), Adilabad (ST), Khammam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Zahirabad, Nalgonda, Medak, Bhongir, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, Chevella, Mahabubnagar, and Hyderabad.
