According to BRS leader KTR, the party’s loss in Telangana is merely a minor setback. “We will acknowledge people’s mandate. CM KCR has already sent his resignation to the governor. We tried very hard, but the results were not great. We will put our best foot forward as the opposition and look into analyzing these results,” KTR said. Congress won 64 seats in the 119-seat Telangana assembly.
