Former CJI Vacates Official Residence After SC Intervenes

Former CJI DY Chandrachud has vacated the official residence allotted to him earlier. Earlier, the Supreme Court administration wrote a letter to the centre to vacate the CJI’s residence immediately. Chandrachud continued in official residence despite his retirement. Chandrachud clarified that this delay in vacating the residence was due to his personal reasons.
