US President Donald Trump on last night signed an executive order raising tariffs on Canadian goods from 25% to 35% for all items not covered under the US-Mexico-Canada deal. Trump warned that any country failing to finalize a trade deal with the U.S. before the August 1 deadline will face increased tariffs on their exports.
