It seems the INDIA bloc is having a hard time with the seat-sharing issues. Recently, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut’s hint for no compromise over seat-sharing talks within the INDIA bloc.
Annoyed by these comments, Congress leader Milind Deora said the grand old party is the leading opposition in Maharashtra. He added that no alliance can proceed without consultation with the local leadership of the state.
In his X post, Deora clarified, “Despite losing 40 MLAs, Shiv Sena (UBT) remains the largest party in MVA, according to Sanjay Raut. He is suggesting that Congress should begin negotiations starting with zero seats.
He forgot that he is talking about the largest opposition party in the Maharashtra assembly, leading the opposition of the state. I want to tell Sanjay Raut that no alliance can proceed without consultation with the local leadership of Maharashtra.
This idea is also supported by the AICC.” Deora made these remarks while responding to a video of Sanjay Raut, in which Raut asserted that their party is the biggest in Maharashtra. Many speculate that Raut was hinting at no compromise over seat-sharing talks.
