IMD Predicts Dense Fog To Continue Over Northwest India For Next 3 Days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted today that dense to very dense fog will continue over many areas of the plains of northwest and east India for the next three days and gradually decrease thereafter. The IMD also predicted that the cold day to severe cold day conditions would continue over many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan during the next three days and decrease thereafter.
According to its latest bulletin, the IMD predicted that the minimum temperatures are in the range of 6-9 degrees Celsius over most parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Also, in a range of 10-12 degrees over north Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, and north Chhattisgarh.
Dense to very dense fog conditions are very likely to prevail in the early morning or morning hours in several parts of Rajasthan tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and in isolated pockets over north Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. The IMD also predicted that dense to very dense fog conditions are likely to prevail during the night and morning hours in several parts of Punjab and Haryana until Friday.
