TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu unveiled the Praja Galam manifesto on Tuesday, emphasizing its core objective of fostering welfare across all sections of society in Andhra Pradesh. Addressing leaders from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP, Naidu pledged to prioritize asset creation to drive developmental initiatives in the state.
The manifesto includes provisions for pensionary benefits for SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities upon reaching 50 years of age. Additionally, Naidu assured uninterrupted nine-hour power supply for farmers and free distribution of solar pump-sets under the upcoming TDP-aligned NDA government. Notably, the manifesto promises Rs 25 lakh health insurance for every family and Rs 15,000 annual financial assistance for drivers in the transport sector.
Expressing concern over the state’s condition under Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership, Naidu criticized the alleged deterioration over the past five years. He highlighted Jagan’s premature resignation ahead of the elections, indicating dissatisfaction with the current administration’s performance.
Joined by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and senior BJP leader Siddharthnath Singh, Naidu underscored the manifesto’s commitment to empowering marginalized groups. The manifesto pledges interest-free loans up to Rs 10 lakh for each Dwcra group, emphasizing the redistribution of generated revenue to benefit the poor.
Naidu assured the Kapu community of Rs 15,000 crore allocation over the next five years, focusing on employment opportunities for Kapu youth and women while also prioritizing the welfare of the Arya Vysya community.
In addition, Naidu promised comprehensive measures for the welfare and prosperity of all communities across Andhra Pradesh, signaling a holistic approach to governance and inclusive development.
