PM Narendra Modi is on a visit to Jharkhand on Friday to inaugurate several developmental projects. During his visit, PM Modi held a roadshow in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. People sprinkled with flower petals on PM as he made his way to the spot of a public gathering. He waved to the assembly.
PM Modi delivered development projects worth over ₹35,700 crore earlier today. The initiative focused on Jharkhand’s coal, electricity, rail, and fertilizer industries. The Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan Ltd. (HURL) Sindri Fertilizer Plant was dedicated by the PM to the country.
The fertilizer factory, which was built at a cost of about ₹8,900 crore, is a step towards the urea sector’s self-sufficiency. Farmers throughout the country will profit as a result of the nearly 12.7 LMT annual increase in domestic urea production.
This is the third fertilizer plant in the country to be restored; in December 2021 and November 2022, respectively, the PM dedicated the fertilizer plants in Gorakhpur and Ramagundam to the nation.
Additionally, the Prime Minister dedicated and laid the groundwork for many rail projects in Jharkhand valued at over ₹17,600 crore. Projects include the Mohanpur-Hansdiha new rail line, the Dhanbad-Chandrapura rail line, the Biratoli-Shivpur third railway line (part of the Tori-Shivpur Project), the third and fourth lines connecting Sone Nagar and Andal, and others.
The state’s rail services will be increased by these developments, which will also boost the local economy. During the event, the prime minister also marked the departure of three trains. This consists of the daily MEMU train service between Tatanagar and Badampahar, the long-haul freight train from Shivpur station, and the Deoghar-Dibrugarh rail service.
