Donors Commit $5 Billion To Pakistan’s Copper, Gold Mining

Pakistan has received $5 billion in offers from global donors, exceeding the $3 billion needed for the Reko Diq copper-gold project in Balochistan. Backed by the SIFC, Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik is expediting work. Donors include ADB, IDB, IFC, US Exim Bank, and European agencies, aiming to unlock Pakistan’s vast mineral potential.
