I Don’t Deserve It: SRK On National Award

Shah Rukh Khan won his first National Film Award for “Jawan” (2023) on August 1, 2025, 33 years after his debut. Back in December 2016, at the Indian Academy Awards launch, SRK humbly said none of his performances, including “Chak De! India” or “Swades,” deserved it, adding, “If I didn’t get an award, I didn’t deserve it.”
