The union chief of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, U. Gopal, was suspended by Ronald Rose, the district electoral officer (DEO) of Hyderabad. Recently, Gopal switched from being a BJP supporter to a BRS member. The leaders of the ruling party were spotted with him, according to representatives of the district election administration.
