In various regions, including Hyderabad, the downpour resulted in a temperature dip of 1-2°C. Taxi fares surged, and long lineups formed at Metro Rail stations as most riders, in spite of the prediction, appeared ill-prepared for the weather. Rainfall in areas like Balanagar and Kukatpally was greatest at 5.3 mm, with Patancheru receiving 4.8 mm, Rajendranagar receiving 4.5 mm, and Khairatabad, Malkajgiri, and Ramachandrapuram receiving 4.3 mm. According to the TS Development Planning Society, rain is expected to continue until November 26–27, especially in the eastern and central regions of Telangana. During the morning, mild showers in the city and in certain areas of Telangana intensified into moderate rain. As winter arrived, Hyderabad saw its first downpour, marking the beginning of what might be a three-day event, according to meteorologists from the Indian Meteorological Department-Hyderabad (IMD-H). The rain was attributed to a surface trough that stretched from the coast of Andhra Pradesh to the west and central Bay of Bengal, and it started around nine in the morning. Showers are expected to continue due to this meteorological phenomenon, which can reach an average altitude of 3.1 km. At the moment, eastern low-altitude winds are affecting the total amount of rainfall. Yadadri – Bhongir, Kapra, Ghatkesar, Saroornagar, Uppal, Mehdipatnam, and Moulali were also affected. In the upcoming days, it is predicted that the temperatures will drop even further, giving locals a much-needed respite from the typical heat.
