The government-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has given good news to its customers. All preparations are being made to launch 5G services in both Telugu states by January 2025.
The Principal General Manager of BSNL, L. Srinu, revealed that the big focus is on modernizing all the infrastructure, including big towers and necessary equipment, to start 5G services as soon as possible.
The BSNL network was established in 2000, and it is one of India’s oldest telecom service providers, known for its wide-reaching network across both urban and rural areas.
BSNL is practically recognized for its extensive network in rural India, providing telecommunication services in some of the most remote regions. It is the largest landline service provider in India, offering stable and reliable connections.
It can offer broadband services under the brand “BSNL Broadband” and mobile services through 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. Notably, it is gearing up to launch its 5G services by 2025, bringing next-gen connectivity to both urban and rural regions.
Being a state-owned entity, BSNL receives support from the government to continue its role in digital expansion across India.
