The Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the country’s highest civilian honor, Bharat Ratna, to the former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. BJP leader NV Subhash thanked the BJP Telangana for honoring the latter with the Bharat Ratna.
NV Subhash is the grandson of the former PM Narasimha Rao. Reacting to the great news, Subhash said that he feels emotional at this point because they have been expecting that the Bharat Ratna will be delayed.
He further accused the UPA administration of using Narasimha Rao as a stand-in for the Congress party’s shortcomings. He added, “PM Modi has conferred PV Narasimha Rao, even though he belongs to the Congress party.
I now hold the UPA government, particularly the Gandhi family, responsible. The Gandhi family played a significant role in using Narasimha Rao as a scapegoat for the Congress party’s missteps during the UPA government’s rule in the center from 2004 to 2014, even without regard to Bharat Ratna or any other honors.
It’s a matter of pride and an honor for us that at this point in time, at this crucial juncture where Narendra Modi become the national leader and as the leader of the whole world, he has been constantly recognizing whether it is Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan.
I’m feeling very, very emotional at this moment. Because we thought that the Bharat Ratna would be delayed. I also want to thank the BJP Telangana on behalf of my family for helping to make this a huge success and a dream come true.,” he added.
