‘Perhaps You Will Be Arrested Instead Of Rahul Gandhi’

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut launched an angry assault on Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma today over his remarks to arrest Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that after the Lok Sabha polls, the politics of the entire country is changing. Adding to that, he also said that perhaps you will be arrested instead of Rahul.

He made these claims while addressing a press conference. There, Raut also asked the Assam CM to arrest Rahul Gandhi right now. He further noted that much corruption exists in Assam.

He also spoke about the West Bengal CM and Punjab CM decisions to fight alone in the Lok Sabha polls and stated that in these two states, there is always some confusion in seat sharing. Be it Mamata Banerjee or AAP, they will contest elections alone, but that does not mean that they will help the BJP or go with them, he added.

Further, slamming the ED’s action, Sanjay Raut said that this is not the action of the ED but of the BJP. After 11 hours of questioning Rohit Pawar yesterday, Kishori Pednekar was called today. Sandeep Raut received the warning as well, Raut asserted.

He further claims that his people will proceed and remain resolute, and they are not scared of anyone. He also raised questions, stating, “What are you going to do? Are you going to arrest us? This is a BJP action rather than an ED one.”
