Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal will join the ‘INDIA’ bloc meeting today, January 13, 2024. In this regard, INDIA block leaders will meet via Zoom today ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, which will be held in April and May 2024. However, the ‘INDIA’ bloc leaders will discuss the seat-sharing agenda and other important matters related to the alliance in today’s meeting.
The INDIA bloc leaders are likely to discuss the name of the convener for the alliance today. Earlier, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh revealed that the meeting will discuss the participation of the alliance parties in the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which will begin tomorrow, January 14, in Manipur. However, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will not join this virtual meeting today.
According to official sources, this is the second such attempt to hold a virtual meeting, as the previous attempt a few days ago did not materialize. It is known that at least 28 opposition parties have come together under the banner of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) to defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
