Congress Shows Double Standards For Hindus: Kerala BJP Chief Surendran
Kerala BJP president K Surendran criticized the Congress party for showing double standards. He accused the grand old party of neglecting the sentiments of the hindu community.
Kerala Bharatiya Janata Party president K Surendran criticized the Congress party for showing double standards. He accused the grand old party of neglecting the sentiments of the majority community for the sake of vote-bank politics.
He also claimed that the Congress party has decided not to organize any programs in connection with the consecration on January 22. Surendran alleged that Congress’ hypocrisy is very clear.
“The Kerala Congress unit has decided not to organize any programs on January 22. The Congress Party’s double standard and hypocrisy are very clear. They are not considering the sentiments of the majority community, the Hindu community, for vote bank politics.
They are acting as a Muslim League,” Surendran added. Union Minister V Muraleedharan slammed Congress earlier for its alleged discomfort in attending the Ram Temple consecration ceremony.
He added that even after receiving an invitation for Pran Pratishtha, Congress did not give any clarification. “This act clearly shows that this approach is just for the Hindu community. When it comes to participating in Iftar or conducting rallies in favor of Palestine, Congress has no issues.
We also saw Congress leaders pretending to be Hindu devotees to do campaigns in elections, but when it comes to participating in Pran Pratishtha of the temple, they have doubts,” Muraleedharan criticized.
