BJP Karnataka Unit’s State Executive Committee Meeting Begins
The BJP Karnataka unit's 'State Executive Committee' meeting has started today. Union Ministers Bhupender Yadav, Pralhad Joshi, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, former Karnataka chief ministers BS Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai, state BJP President BY Vijayendra, and other party leaders are participating in the meeting.
The BJP Karnataka unit’s ‘State Executive Committee’ meeting commenced today with the participation of key figures such as Union Ministers Bhupender Yadav, Pralhad Joshi, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, former CMs BS Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai, state BJP President BY Vijayendra, and other BJP leaders.
Scheduled to conclude at 5:30 p.m. today, the meeting aims to address issues related to campaigns against the Congress government and preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. BY Vijayendra is presiding over the meeting, marking the first state executive gathering under his leadership.
Originally planned for the previous week, the meeting was postponed due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bengaluru.
Former Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar’s return to the BJP on Thursday has injected newfound vigor into the party’s state unit. Shettar, who had joined the Congress last year in anticipation of the 2023 legislative polls, formally rejoined the BJP in New Delhi. The event witnessed the presence of ex-Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, Union Minister Bhupender Singh Yadav, Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa, and Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
