BJP leader Rajendra Rathore heaped praise on the present state government led by CM Bhajan Lal Sharma. He said that the CM is committed to punishing criminals.
“There is not an iota of doubt that crimes were out of hand during the past five years. The then-CM, Ashok Gehlot, was busy tracking the phones of his colleagues. The BJP government is moving forward to suppress crimes,” Rathore said.
He also reacted to the Jaipur-based incident in which a woman was crushed by a car. Rathore said, “This is true; nobody knows when an incident comes to light. More gruesome incidents, like a woman being gang-raped in front of her husband, have been reported in the past.
But in the Gogamedi murder case, the culprits were behind bars within 72 hours after the incident. This is the proof that the present Rajasthan government is committed to punishing criminals.”
