Delhi Government Revises Ration Card Rules

The Delhi govt has announced a proposal to raise the family annual income eligibility cap for ration cards from Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh. CM Rekha Gupta stated this expansion will cover more low-income households under the Public Distribution System (PDS). Concurrently, authorities have cancelled 7.72 lakh invalid ration cards to improve transparency.
