Senior IAS Officer Vijayanand Appointed As New CS Of AP

The Govt of Andhra Pradesh has issued an order appointing Vijayanand as the new Chief Secretary of the state. Vijayanand, a 1992-batch IAS officer, was serving as the Special Principal Secretary in the Energy Dept. He has been appointed by CM Chandrababu to succeed the current CS, Nirab Kumar, who will retire on Dec 31, 2024.
