Srisailam Dam Gates Closed As Flood Flow Subsides

All crest gates of the Srisailam Dam were closed today at 11:30 AM as flood flow reduced through the Jurala and Sunkesula projects. Officials, who had released water through six gates earlier in the day, closed them one by one. This year, Srisailam Dam gates were opened twice to release water to Nagarjunasagar.
