Can Governors Receive Salary From Two States?

A state Governor can receive salaries from two states if they hold additional charge of another state. While serving as the constitutional head of their primary state, they are assigned extra responsibilities for the second state, for which they are entitled to additional remuneration, as per government rules and allowances.
