Deutsche Lufthansa AG will cancel around 20,000 short-haul flights from its European summer schedule as jet fuel prices surge amid the Iran conflict. The cuts equal nearly 1% of seat capacity and aim to save about 40,000 tonnes of fuel. Costs have doubled, with initial cancellations already underway through May. Further reductions are expected soon.
