South Central Railways (SCR) has announced the operation of 12 special trains to cater to increased passenger demand between Prayagraj and SMVT Bengaluru.
South Central Railways (SCR) has announced the operation of 12 special trains to cater to increased passenger demand between Prayagraj and SMVT Bengaluru. These trains are scheduled to enhance connectivity and provide additional travel option for passengers between these two major cities.
The Prayagraj-SMVT Bengaluru Express (Train No. 04131) will operate every Sunday from October 13 to November 17, 2024. This service is designed to accommodate the high passenger volumes expected during this period. The return service, SMVT Bengaluru-Prayagraj Express (Train No. 04132), will run every Wednesday from October 16 to November 20, 2024.
These special trains will make multiple stops at various stations along the route to serve a wide range of passengers. The trains will be equipped with different classes of coaches to cater to diverse needs, including 2AC (Two-Tier Air-Conditioned), 3AC (Three-Tier Air-Conditioned), and Sleeper coaches. This arrangement is expected to offer flexibility and comfort for travelers, ensuring a smoother journey.
The introduction of these special trains is a part of SCR’s efforts to manage passenger demand effectively and provide enhanced services during peak travel periods. The additional trains aim to ease the burden on existing services and improve travel convenience for passengers traveling between Prayagraj and SMVT Bengaluru.
