Metro Projects Begin In Vizag And Vijayawada

Tenders are out for Phase 1 of the Metro Rail projects in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, with a total budget of ₹21,616 crore. Vijayawada will get 38 km of metro lines across two corridors. PNBS to Penamalur and PNBS to Gannavaram. Phase 1 alone involves ₹10,000 crore for initial construction and planning. The rest of the amount will be after Phase 1.
