“Coolie” Not Part Of LCU, Confirms Lokesh Kanagaraj

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed that “Coolie,” starring Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna, is a standalone film and not part of his cinematic universe. Dismissing rumours of a Kamal Haasan cameo, he said “Coolie” was written exclusively for Rajini. Speaking to Bharadwaj Rangan, Lokesh added there are no crossovers planned. “Coolie” will release on August 14, 2025.
