Maruti Suzuki India has introduced the WagonR Waltz Edition, starting at ₹5.65 lakh (ex-showroom). This new edition serves as a cosmetic upgrade over the standard WagonR, offering additional accessories and features across three variants: LXi, VXi, and ZXi.
The exterior of the WagonR Waltz boasts an updated chrome grille, fog lamps with chrome garnishing, bumper protectors, wheel arch cladding, and stylish side skirts. Inside, it features an interior styling kit that includes new floor mats and seat covers. The vehicle is also equipped with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, enhanced speakers, a security system, and a reverse parking camera.
While the safety features remain unchanged, they include dual airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Hill-Hold.
Under the hood, the WagonR Waltz Edition offers a choice of 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engines, complemented by a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic (AMT) option. CNG bi-fuel variants are also available. The claimed mileage stands at an impressive 25.19 kmpl for petrol and 33.48 km/kg for CNG.
The WagonR competes with models like the Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, and Maruti Suzuki Celerio, further enhancing Maruti’s presence in the compact car segment.
