The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a light rainfall alert in many parts of East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, south Uttar Pradesh, south Bihar, and Jharkhand until February 14. The IMD also predicted light rainfall activity in several areas of Central and East India for the next four days.
The IMD stated that New Delhi records a minimum temperature of 5.2°C. The IMD also predicts a rise in minimum temperatures by 3-5 degrees Celsius in Northwest, Central, East, and West India. The Met Office also predicted light rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning very likely over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh during February 11–12. The IMD has also predicted light rainfall over Telangana on February 10th and 11th.
Many flights were delayed at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in Delhi today due to low visibility amid the dense fog. The IMD has also predicted dry weather in Himachal Pradesh for the next 5 days until February 15, 2024.
