The IMD issued a heatwave alert for four Jharkhand districts on Thursday, with temperatures hitting 43.4°C. However, relief is expected as light rain and thunderstorms are forecast across the state from April 24 to 26. Temperatures may drop slightly following the rainfall. A yellow alert remains in place for both heat and upcoming storms.
