Rajasthan HC Seeks Response On Transgender Rights Plea

Rajasthan High Court has sought the Centre’s response on a plea challenging the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Act, 2026. The petition by Nai Bhor Sanstha alleges violations of rights and privacy due to mandatory medical certification and stricter provisions. The court has asked Union ministries to reply on constitutional validity.
