Due to adverse weather, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar was forced to make an emergency landing in a remote village near Munsiyari on Wednesday. He and two pilots, along with 2 election officials, spent the night in an uninhabited house in sub-zero temperatures. The helicopter resumed its journey on Thursday morning and safely reached Munsyari Tehsil headquarters.
