The Mizoram government has launched ‘MizoTaxi,’ a mobile app to curb overcharging and ensure government-approved fares. Initially rolling out in Aizawl from July 1, it covers taxis, two-wheeler taxis, and auto-rickshaws. Operators must register in June, with a concessional annual fee of ₹600 for those completing registration within the deadline, officials said.
