CLP Meeting Set To Elect DK Shivakumar As CM Today

The Congress Legislature Party is set to meet in Bengaluru today to elect DK Shivakumar as its new leader after the acceptance of Siddaramaiah’s resignation. All Congress MLAs will attend the meeting, where members are expected to acknowledge Siddaramaiah’s tenure before endorsing Shivakumar. Later, Shivakumar is likely to stake claim to form the new govt.
