Maharashtra Village Head Kidnapped & Murdered Over Enmity

A village head was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by a group of individuals due to an enmity in Beed district, Maharashtra, police reported. Santosh Deshmukh, the sarpanch of Massajog village, was abducted from a toll plaza near Dongaon Fata village at around 3 pm on Monday. Two persons have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder, and investigations are underway.
