Lokayukta Raids Ballari Hospitals Amid Maternal Deaths

Following the recent maternal deaths, the Lokayukta raided Ballari’s district and BIMS hospitals to investigate the matter. Led by SP Siddharaju, the teams inspected key hospital areas. CM Siddaramaiah assured continued action, noting that the drug controller had been suspended. BJP Mahila Morcha demanded Rs 25 lakh compensation for the victims’ families and support for orphaned newborns.
