5-Year-Old Girl Dies After Being Thrown Off Srinagar Bridge By Aunt

A five-year-old girl died three days after her aunt, allegedly suffering from mental illness, threw her off a bridge over the Jhelum river in Srinagar. The girl fell onto a concrete pier, sustaining severe injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries. The aunt, who had been on medication, is in police custody after the incident.
