He assured that when chips are down, the world can bet on India. “I can say that this is the right time to be in India. You are at the right place at the right time. In 21st century’s India, the chips are never down. Today’s India gives assurance to the world that you can bet on India,” PM Modi said.
At SEMICON India 2024, global semiconductor leaders praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for advancing India’s semiconductor industry. Ajit Manocha, Randhir Thakur, Kurt Sievers, Hidetoshi Shibata, and Luc Van Den Hove highlighted India’s rapid progress, new projects, and strategic potential, emphasizing their commitment to expanding the country’s role in the global semiconductor supply chain.
