Badlapur School Tried To Cover-Up Sexual Assault On Kindergarten Children!

The school in Badlapur, where two kindergarten girls were sexually abused, chose to cover up the crime instead of helping their parents file a complaint. Maharashtra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Chairperson Susieben Shah revealed on Wednesday. The girls were sexually abused by the accused, Akshay Shinde, in the school toilet on August 13. The incident came to light after one of the girls narrated the ordeal to her parents on August 16.  The accused was arrested on August 17.

Over 70 people were arrested and five FIRs were filed against 500 in just 24 hours over the protests in Badlapur. The alacrity of the police in arresting the protesters pales in comparison to the action in registering the FIR, which apparently took 12 hours. Slamming the government, the opposition alleged that victim parents were made to wait for 12 hours before taking their complaints.
