Report: Villagers In Kathua Forced to Cook For Terrorists At Gunpoint Before Ambush

In a tragic incident in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, a recent terrorist attack on an Army convoy resulted in the loss of five personnel. According to sources, villagers were coerced at gunpoint to cook for the terrorists before the ambush took place. The attackers, equipped with bodycams, reportedly aimed to seize the Army’s weapons but faced strong resistance from the personnel, who displayed remarkable courage despite sustaining injuries. The ambush occurred on a remote mountainous road near Badnota village, marking the fifth terror strike in the region within a month. These attacks strategically target areas distant from security bases with limited road access, complicating the deployment of reinforcements.

The truck, which was in close proximity to the army convoy on the Machedi-Kindli-Malhar road, slowed down near Badnota village during the ambush.
