The High Court of Andhra Pradesh will hear the petition of Satyavedu TDP MLA Koneti Adimulam on Thursday. This follows allegations of sexual harassment made against the MLA by a woman.
Recently, the alleged victim presented private videos to the media at a press conference held at Hyderabad’s Somajiguda Press Club. The TDP MLA has firmly denied the allegations, calling them baseless.
The victim said that she has already written a letter to the government officials regarding this matter. She complained that she was being threatened on this matter, and she urged the government to protect her.
Koneti Adimulam (born 1958) is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He was elected as an MLA from Satyavedu Assembly constituency, which is reserved for the SC community in Chittoor district, from the Telugu Desam Party in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.
He began his political career with Congress in 1977, and he was elected as a Sarpanch of Bheemunicheruvu Village, Narayanavanam Mandal, in 1981.
He served as vice chairman of Mandal Praja Parishad in 1988 and as a member of MPTC in 1995. He joined the Telugu Desam Party in 2001 and was elected as a Zilla Parishad member.
