In the Chintalapudi mandal of Eluru district, the Tammileru reservoir at Nagireddygudem got 1,493 cusecs of water on Wednesday. According to A. Paramanandam, assistant executive engineer for the reservoir, the reservoir has a capacity of 355 feet and a basin level of 355.18 feet. The Gonela Vagu basin has a storage capacity of 3 TMC at a level of 333.02 feet. Here, there is now 0.629 TMC of storage. According to Paramanandam, Chintalapudi Mandal has recorded 235.4 mm of rainfall. Rainwater is pouring into Yerra Kaluva in large quantities.
