A huge rush of devotees continued for Sarvadarshan at Tirumala temple in Tirupathi today, February 3, 2024. According to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Srivaru devotees without the SSD tokens will have to wait 8 hours for Sarvadarshan, and a total of 7 compartments have been filled so far.
According to the TTD, a total of 58,842 devotees took darshan, and 21,796 devotees were tonsured on Friday. TTD also revealed that Tirumala Hundi got 3.11 crore in income on February 2.
According to TTD, the annual 7-day Teppotsavam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple will be performed from February 17–23, 2024, wherein the deities bless devotees and also parade on Mada streets during the period.
On the other side, the auspicious Ratha Saptami will be celebrated in Tirumala temple on the occasion of Surya Jayanti on February 16, 2024. On a single-day festival, the processional deity of Lord Malayappa takes out a celestial ride on seven carriers from dawn to dusk.
According to the TTD schedule, the Vahana Seva commences with the Suryaprabha Vahanam, followed by Chinnasesha Vahanam, Garuda Vahanam, Hanumantha Vahanam, Chakrasnanam, Kalpavruksha Vahanam, Sarvabhoopala Vahanam, and Chandraprabha Vahanam.
