According to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Srivaru devotees without the SSD tokens will have to wait 8 hours for Sarvadarshan, and at least 3 compartments have been filled so far.
According to the TTD, a total of 65,683 devotees took darshan, and 21,177 devotees were tonsured on Wednesday. TTD also revealed that Tirumala Hundi got 3.59 crore in income on February 7.
Meanwhile, the auspicious Ratha Saptami will be celebrated in Tirumala temple on the occasion of Surya Jayanti on Friday, February 16, 2024. However, Ratha Saptami marks the gradual increase in temperature across South India and awaits the arrival of the spring season.
On the other side, the prestigious 7-day Teppotsavam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple will be performed from February 17–23, 2024. The main deities bless devotees on the specially decorated float and will parade on all four Mada streets during the auspicious Teppotsavam.
